Dean suddenly remembers his room. His room. This was his first and last room. After that he always shared damp and shady motel rooms with Dad or Sammy. But this was his room, this bright, colorful, cheerful place that just emanated warmth and home. This place with pictures he had drawn so carefully as a child tacked onto the walls - memories that were meant to last forever but were soon forgotten. And for a moment, Dean Winchester doesn’t mind the ‘I Wuv Hugs’ shirt, he doesn’t even care that he and Sam are dead. He just remembers the vaguely familiar smells and for just a second, he’s happy.
